Yep, one of those. Jumped in on the first round of $100's. T-shirt long worn out. Owned many cars since then. Have a slingshot now. Would still take the Elio if it came out, but rapidly looking like I won't be around to see it.

you will find plenty of company here who share your history with Elio Motors ..... while its said to never say never, its long been difficult to have any serious confidence that it will come to production .... over time info on a number of alternative vehicles under development have been and continue to be discussed on this forum .... take a look at the link below, it discusses a very interesting Elio type trike

As the need for funds increased I was one of the $1K All Iners and dabbled with a little stock. The stock price hit bottom but is holding there. We will see the Eliot in years to come but it might be coming from China or Korea with a new name. It was a good design with lots of potential. The Elio had one design feature that was so outside the normal design box I doubt it will ever be copied.

A number of Elio followers are watching the development of the BEX unfold. The builder is giving his best shot to bring it to market.

Personally, I really like what I see.

it’s going to take someone like Mark to make it happen.

Does he have the funding for mass production though.?
I wouldn’t dare speak for Mark. I’m just a spectator and follower of his posts.

But, I’d say Mark appears to be very knowledgeable about building and the process of production. Meaning, he knows what it will take to make it happen. Building and selling vehicles to others....

I don’t think Mark would be investing his time and energy in something that he thought he couldn’t pull off. He’s too smart and talented to waste his time. There’s other things he could be doing.

I’m sure it’s one step at a time. Looks to me like he knows where to place his steps. I like his attempt.... I think he’s capable and I’m pulling hard for him until I see otherwise.

True true, he's not asking for any deposits, or "handouts" but it sure seems like he knows what he's doing.
I will take one if he does get it built, or if he produces a kit.
I like the kit idea, that leaves it open to a lot more options, it is something worth waiting for.
