The airfare discount is a great idea. There will likely be thousands of us wanting to fly down to see the assembly plant and pick up our Elio's in person so I am sure Elio could score discounts in exchange for a little advertising on their website and in emails to people signing up for pickup in Shreveport.

2030 miles and under a $100 for gas. I haven't had time to look into the trip there yet. May cost a little bit because it will be my wife and I making the trip.

Just playing with mapquest planning for an event I will be going to in Vegas. Baltimore to Vegas round trip driving the Elio is about $220.00 round trip. Cheaper than flying

Yup food will cost more than food! Mapquest says 24 hour drive time from here.. About the same distance to central Florida from here which I did one time..
