I love to read SUCCESS stories. A prevailing and recurring theme with soooo many of them, has been their PERSISTENCE. So many of them "pitched" their product, or idea, upwards of 100 TIMES, before they found the investor(s) that shared the same passion. GO ELIO !

Even the big shots go broke from time to time but the good old American taxpayer was tapped to bail them out. I know the line of saving jobs and all that but if we wanted to save jobs here or create them more startups need to be supported.

You and whathtelef must be close cousins! Except I'm hoping that you're no psychic like him that already predicted EM's doom. I put 'em to the test because he said he knows how to get things done for EM....I simply ask him what's his great plan......and never replied. So how about you, I guess you have some inside info. How in the world did you know that EM is counting solely on the reservation monies or they don't have the 200 mil. right now? If you can provided some proof then you have some credibility here otherwise,you're just like your cousin talking out of his ass! Just sayin'.

I don't think they are quite in a fiasco yet. They could be headed that way, sure. They have the plant, the motor, and enough cash to "get us through the engineering phase".

And now, Ill quote myself...
That is not how they are raising the $200,000,000. But if they were, given current trend analysis, 25% of the total number of reservations would be at the $1,000 point... even if 100% we're at $1,000, it would take 200,000 reservations. But, in lieu of just guessing....

25% at $1,000 = 138,875
5% at $ 500 = 27,775
10% at $ 250 = 55,550
60% at $ 100 = 33,330,000 (that is what I call a metric crap ton)

So, 33,552,200 reservations at the current distribution of reservations would be required to raise $200,000,000 by reservations alone.

Yeah, I do math sometimes... it's another hobby. Lucky for most of us reservationists, we never thought Elio would be counting on reservations to get the money.

Their agenda seems to be discrediting EM in a public forum because they or their puppet master want EM to fail. They fear EM's success.

Ty, I sorry, I used the 200 million as an example, actually it was a test to see if you read the 2010 presentation at all.
Obviously you didn't or you would have read the statement by Mr. Elio who said they only needed 15 million of private capital.
Now look at the numbers, In 18 months they have about 5000 one thousand dollar reservists, and a bunch of others. Do the math, how long will it take to raise the 8 (est) million and MORE IMPORTANTLY, how many of the reservists will cancel because of the final cost of the vehicle when the actual price is revealed, and especially the $100 refundable and non refundable.

Oh, with this latest delay, I think EM has less than 6 months left. They will be bought out!

You're talking out of your ass again! Forget about the reservations....I mean come on, everybody already knows the reservation monies is not going to cut it and yet EM is moving along! So question for you...do you know for a fact that EM does not have the 200 mil. right now???
