Until the final production decisions are made, the only information you "might" be able to get, would be how large the hub is. I've read in several places it will have a five bolt pattern, and I'm really glad to hear that much!

what info is needed
Jim
For starters, read this--which is what I had in mind when I posted. 4.25, 4.5, 4.75, etc. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/techpage.jsp?techid=92

But there is much more--from a tire rack window which doesn't have a URL.

Experience indicates that searching by wheel size, offset and/or bolt pattern alone are not specific enough criteria to ensure an exact fitment.

Attention to detail prevents vibration, wheel/tire interference and unbalanced handling. A vehicle's critical components are measured with sophisticated electronic tools to allow our fitment engineers the ability to create extremely accurate drawings of these parts. Similar drawings of the wheels are also created and then Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs match the wheels to the vehicles. Using these electronic tools numerous critical areas are verified to ensure the fit is within our standards before a wheel can be matched to a vehicle. Wheel size, offset and bolt pattern are measured and each wheel's style/spoke design, the vehicle's brake caliper shape and many other variables are checked for proper clearance and fit. Because of the numerous wheel/vehicle combinations, this often means each wheel has to be individually tested on the vehicle either manually or electronically using the CAD data.

Other items we measure or verify:

  • Bolt Pattern
  • Centerbore Diameter
  • Hub Diameter
  • Load Capacity
  • Lug Hardware
  • Suspension Components Clearance
Read detailed information on what we measure here.

Custom applications? If you have a custom fitment, our sales specialists will gather the information needed to verify fitment and will then confer with our fitment engineers to determine the selection of wheels available for your custom vehicle. Contact Tire Rack

sorry to say, I fear that getting all of that info is probably above my pay grade .... if you need such detailed info, you might need to check Facebook or other places where you can get info direct from EM

Considering the P4 does not even have the final size wheels and tires on it I would doubt the road tour team has that kind of detailed information at this time. I can ask and see what sort of information they may have however other than the already stated 15" five lug wheels I doubt we will get much more from them at this point. Eventually, as the test vehicles are built and road tested, this information will be locked down and become available.

Ultimately, yes. We’re planning a series of events close to the delivery of our first vehicle to let our supporters get the Elio feeling. Once we are in full production, you’ll be invited to one of our ride and drives that will be much more comprehensive, fun and informative than a typical “test drive.”.

per a conversation with Jerome Vassallo, VP of Sales at the exhibit in Charlotte on 12-6-14 .... in 2015 some (exact number yet to be determined) Elio trikes will be hand built to production standards and used for test drives .... as they are being used for test drives they will also provide info needed to tweak the trikes which will lead to a road tested model from which they will be able to setup the automated assembly process .... early test drives will indeed give first priority to folks who are All In (at any level) .... it is way too early to give any estimate when this may begin

per a conversation with Jerome Vassallo, VP of Sales at the exhibit in Charlotte on 12-6-14, the above is dead on .... all that is known at this point is 15" 5 lug off the shelf rims
