from what was reported this morning, his crew and he partied all night and he gave them today off .... that'll put them behind on Kansas this weekend but I doubt he cares very much, they are in the chase

That's why I like him, he never tries to sell himself as anything but who
he is. Not once has he played on his Dads name or accomplishments.
I also understand by the grapevine that he treats his crew fabulously and
spends a huge amount of time working with his development drivers,
like Chase Elliot. If Nascar is smart they'll stay hitched to that wagon.

Sorry Tony got ticked with JR, I like them both but that was Tonys mistake
not Dales and he paid for it.

Might be better for Jr. if he's not out front in points going into the chase,
something stupid always seems to bite him when he does. It's usually
somebody else's silly sh** that takes him out, or really ridiculous luck.
How many times do shifters break, really!!

there seems to be a significant issue with shifters and transmissions this year .... I don't he'll be first in points going into the chase but do believe he's got a good shot at being in the top half

agree .... Chad's absolutely the best at making adjustments during a race and he's worked with Jimmy so long that they understand each other ... on mile and a half tracks, they are a force to be reckoned with .... with 5 of the 10 chase races being on mile and a half tracks, they have a pretty good edge .... as long as they stay together, they will be the team to beat but just like Jeff and Ray, if they split up, I don't think either would be as good as they are together

interesting to see Danica in a blue car .... it can't hurt in trying to find a sponsor to replace Go Daddy that she once again won the fan vote to get into the All Star race
