with my two kids living in Seattle I couldn't fight it anymore, my older one was an executive recruiter @ Starbucks (also own Seattle's Best)and she along with her co-workers were entitled to a few lbs a week, most didn't bother, for them and for me -too bitter. But being retired (read plenty of time), I go through the ritual of using a Pavoni, (hand pull) which ritual takes about 20 min for a good cup of espresso., If I'm out I'll take McD over a Starbucks and with my senior discount it's only a buck!!

I had visitors last month from NE Italy and they claimed McDonald's espresso was as good as many of the coffee stands in Italy.

I drink several pots of coffee each and every day. I never without a cup in my hand or close at hand. Maybe the Elio will have a "coffee pot" option.

Considering Paul Elio has a cup of coffee in his hand in almost every picture they just might. LOL :-) Z

I drink a couple pots of coffee a day and am somewhat of a coffee snob. My favorite is the Bonavita coffee maker that heats water to 200 degrees and drip brews 8 cups in 3-4 minutes into a thermal carafe........extracts the best coffee flavor with no bitterness from the gind..........$169, certified by the coffee bean roasters of America, and worth every penny. Is it that much better than from a $20 Mr. Coffee probably not. My Kuerig, which was a gift, is used for one cup coffee emergencies or when my wife and or a guest wants to drink a wussy flavored coffee. Coffee is my drug of choice and as the newly declared health drink along with dark chocolate......a win win.

Dark chocolate, did someone say dark chocolate. I drink it, I eat it and I LOVE it. Coffee, on the other hand, only in the form of kaluah and it has been so long since I have had any of that I probably misspelled it. :-) Z

Seattle's Best #5 at Kroger. Plain old electric percolator by Farberware, $63. Except for Mc donald's on the road thats my story and I'm sticking to it.
