Welcome to the forum and the military service thread. Thanks for your service and as an infantryman in Vietnam I loved the B-model Huey gun ships and then the Cobras. You guys saved my "bacon" many times and I am eternally grateful. The forum has the latest information, rumors, and opinions about the Elio and its members are helpful and friendly. Use the forum search function to find the answers to most of your questions. If you can't find it just ask because some member will try to answer it for you. Welcome to this historic journey and I hope you find the forum informative and enjoyable. In my days of Helicopter flying Uh1cCs and AH1Gs that would have been a gun ship crews fashion statement.
From what I've seen, you can get at least two helmets in the back area, maybe four.
if it was a helmet like this.

Heads Up Display (speed, navigation, etc)
Situational Awareness (including GPS, and camera feeds)
Bluetooth connected headset (integrated audio and phone)
Of course, it is a $1400 helmet, so it would be quite an option. Plus it's not available till next summer. But if Missouri never gets off the stick to change legislation (and really, getting the Missouri legislature to do anything about anything other than protecting puppy mills is a tough haul) I may have to invest.
Pretty darn neat tech.
An option to consider if there is ever an Elio convertible. Cool and a little Darth Vaderish!if it was a helmet like this.
