Will the Elio require a motorcycle license in Colorado?

The Elio team is working hard on legislation all states to make this rig have no special operator qualifications or limitations... I am not sure where colorado stands, but truly believe the problem will be solved (all states) prior to production start up.

Hello Denim, when the Elio was shown at the Cherry Creek Mall a motorcycle license is not required.

I emailed my legislator yesterday about an autocycle bill for Colorado. He supported the idea, but apparently the 2014 legislative session ends today (?) and he is term limited and won't be back for the new session in the summer. but he did say that he would email the request to the House Transportation Committee chair.

Just an update on this. Fischer said that the House Transportation Committee chair already has a bill to address the issue on the legislative calendar.
