They did mention that they're going to be working on an "unlimited speed" model at the same time.

It's in there.

Well, it's not that much different than a Gizmo, or a Horlacher Egg. Both are urban vehicles for in-city driving. If it's a bit stronger it might eventually be like a Corbin Sparrow or the Mechanica. I prefer a wider and longer wheelbase on all of those where US freeways get in the mix, plus FWD of course. And the windshield is not realistic or legal in the US. For full coverage you must have glass and wipers. There seems no provision for that. So the design must change.
The website invites online chat, but no contact happens. So far, everything is just a artful presentation of an early concept, both the product and the online materials including the youtube vid. ie, there seems to be no actual business right now. Can't even tell the country. UPDATED: the back ground images appear to be in Australia, Sidney for the tower.

Correct. The site states the company is located in Australia.

Probably in the same way that Elio is going to be working on an Elio EV?

You're not going to buy the current EleCa because at some point in the future they may be able to come up with a highway speed version.

There's noting revolutionary here. Scroll through the Similar Vehicles board here and you'll find all kinds of other low-speed, low-cost urban commuter things. What makes this one more compelling than all the other ones that never went anywhere? There's just no market for something like this. Hell, this one doesn't even have seats! AriLea brought up more good points: Illegal windshield configuration, that's made of some kind of plastic? It'll be scratched to hell and back in no time. No windshield wipers, so can't drive it in the rain. And the way the top pops open, if you do try and drive it in the rain, the inside will fill up like a swimming pool. Hope the scuppers work.
