That would be different , of course by the time they hit a million we may need some kind of letter to shorten it up
See, now I read that a little differently. You suggested 123, based on Door, Seats, Wheels. I see DSW coming out of that. You don't think it's catchy enough? Tell that to the ladies spending so much time at the shoe store of the same name! ...jus' sayin'I was just over on the Elio Motors web site looking for more information. At one point, while scrolling around, I saw photos as part of a slide show that includes an image with a tag line: 1 Door, 2 Seats, 3 Wheels. Now, I know this means absolutely nothing, but the obvious link in MY noggin suggests that EM has already made the connection between those three points of marketing interest and the possibility exists that the first model could be the Elio 123. AND I could be over-simplifying this whole thing, but the evidence is there...jus' sayin'...
To each his own. I like Elio!!!!! (Without the exclamation points, of course) :-) ZI like the numbering style; why not, BMW does it. It could be the 133i1 (1door, 3 wheels, 3cylinders, injected, 1st production release).
As it progresses you'll be able to tell which upgrades it comes with from the factory.
Porsche did it on a couple of cars; they had a 914 and the 914-6 for the 6 cylinder version of the 914.
