No. There will come a time when Elio will anounce a deadline for any reservations and upgrades. When that date arrives, every single reservationist (even the $100 I-Want-In) will be assigned a spot in line. Obviously, at that point, the $1000 All-In reservationists will be at the head of the line. However, everyone else will then know their spot in line. Elio may not "close" reservations but may just cut off the "first year of production" guarantee and change to a "second year guarantee" or some such. I don't see any logic in stopping reservations altogether. The promotion was to get people to reserve an Elio which shows a level of public interest that helps drive supplier and financial backer participation. The promotion will end before Elios start being produced.

When it comes down to it, it isn't fair to reward those who risked almost nothing to put down $1,000 the day before production started when there are people who backed Elio for years.

Recently Elio stated that the 'Stores' & 'Distribution Centers' are delayed into 2017.
I would think once Elio shuts off "Year 1" reservations, "Year 2" reservations will
go directly into the factory ordering "System" & a number &/or position will be
assigned based on the amount put down............this will not be unlike their projected
internet ordering or in store ordering & will evolve into the projected scenario as
finances dictate........
