Living in southern California, I always obsess over wether the A/C is installed. :D
I already have done a summer in Northern California with no A/C...

"Your wife is hot. Cool her off with A/C :D."

She picked out our first car together. The one I wanted HAD A/C...lol.

It just might BE the AC compressor! I also didn't think about the serpentine belt already being in place!

I still shudder though, thinking about all the dust and stuff in that shop getting into the AC system..

Hey, I can come up with a dozen Instructables on how to make your own AC, using an old cooler, some piping, and an aquarium air pump. Just remember to fill up the cooler with ice before you leave work.


I built one of those! :peace: I used a old perforated paint drip pan as the water feeder for the filters. Worked danged good for the camper! In fact, it worked so well, the damned thing evaporated one day while we were gone fishing!! :rant:
