The nature of the internet is that deserving posts will get upvoted, and undeserving ones will not. He was merely explaining why he thought your post wasn't getting upvotes.

And no, none of us are going to upvote a post simply to advertize the Elio.

I would. Why not? I want to see Elios being produced and any positive attention is good. If upvoting a post makes it more visible and that attracts more people, why would that be a bad thing? Of course, no single one of us speaks for all the people on this forum nor should we assume that we do. We should all remember we are from VERY different backgrounds with sometimes VERY different experiences, values, and opinions.
