I do agree completely regarding the gorgeous wife comment

Yes, if I had any issue it would be that I felt too low below the steering wheel / windshield. I thought that was mostly due to being used to my much larger Honda Ridgeline - and I raise the seat somewhat there as well. I know it won't be an issue once I get used to driving the Elio; plus I imagine the finished product will be a little better.

I believe I read or heard somewhere that the p4 under carriage is actually lower to the ground than the production model will be but it was not explained why. That was stated after the run in with an exposed manhole cover in NYC during a Fox joy ride that wasn't supposed to happen damaged the muffler. :-) Z

I was just so awe struck. I didn't even let my feet feel the pedals, Where they there? LOL I wanted to check out the view in the mirrors, and being a locksmith I wanted to look at the key..........

I just hope they do this again next year with some of the 25 "E" models and let us test DRIVE them.

Yeah, the crowd was not big on Sunday. I got in the car twice. The second, I confirmed that I could see the fronts wheels from the driver's vantage point. Somebody here was concerned that the wheels would not be visible.

Just from Fremont, one hour-drive. Traffic was bad on the way back though.

I also dropped by the Tesla store. about 200 feet from the Elio display. That Model-S is a thing of beauty at $95K. The sales lady said there will be a $40K Tesla in 2017. So, if the Elio is not built by 2017, perhaps a Tesla!
