I left the house at 5am, because the traffic leaving Las Vegas, on Sunday
mornings, is hazardous to drive in. DUI's & such.
I was headed out to Ontario, CA to see the Elio Motors showing
of their new Prototype, the P4.

Arriving at the Doubletree Inn at 9am, I was surprised to
see the bright Orange (Creamsicle) vehicle across the parking lot.
I drove over, and introduced myself to the Elio crew, and that, got
me a private showing of our favorite car. Everything, but drive it!

Then along came, Jerome Vassallo, VP of sales, to greet me, and
talked everything, Elio, to me. Pam, and Jerome, Jr. asked
me to have my picture taken, with the Orange beauty.

When done, Jerome said he called Paul Elio, who was on the property,
to tell him there was a fan, who drove in from Las Vegas.
He came down, coffee in hand, and filled me in about his dream.

Somehow, after reading about someone in the news, one forms an opinion
as to what that person is like, but I didn't expect, a regular guy!
Who is making his dreams a reality.
We talked about, family, factory, funds, board of directors, partners,
and of course, the Elio!
We talked only 30 minutes, as they were set up for a photo/video shoot.
Paul mentioned he was excited, because he had just signed on a new
partner for the servicing and maintenance of the Elio cars, and would
make the announcement in 2 weeks. He asked me not to “let it out”
as to, Who that is!

Over 400 people came to see, touch, and sit in. I met a lot of friendly,
patient, fans, as well as the curious.
We didn't get out of there till almost 7:00pm,
but, the crew would not leave until the last visitors had seen the car.

I spent most of the day with, Jerome Sr. and the Elio team, except for the
breaks, to check-in to the Airport Inn ½ mile away, and lunch.

What I came away with, was, a sincere man with a dream, and a crew
of dedicated men and woman, who really believe in what they are doing.
It was a warming experience, a long day, and it left me with a feeling that,

THIS IS RIGHT!

Thanks to:

Paul Elio
Jerome V. Sr.
Pam V.
Jerome V. Jr.
Greg
Tim

You made my day! P.S. Met lots of people with numbers lower than mine! Again!
A REAL GOOD DAY

Wow, what an amazing story! I am very jealous but also happy you were able to have such a great experience including meeting and discussing Elio Motors idea directly with Paul Elio.
