Cool! I hadn't seen that the last time I went to their site. The guys that want the 'retro' fenders and custom wheels will be thrilled to see that's going to be an option. But for $1600 to do a wrap, I'll stick with my Creamsicle...or Red...or Black.

My guess is that the prices, colors, and looks of these options are not 100% accurate. It's probably just a proof of concept. But yeah, looks like they want to offer the P3 fenders, a yellow wrap, etc.

Yeah, it will be fun to play with. Definitely a new concept for cars. I sure hope they can make it work. Not just the app, but the entire system to get the right cars to the right people, on time, and in budget! It's sure to turn some heads.

Guess I must be hard to please. I do NOT think the video is very good. No audio (that I could find) hard to read, no details, etc....

It did accomplish one thing however, it convinced me that I will order a basic car and wait for the aftermarket to provide the options I want at more affordable prices.

I am torn on the open fenders. I like the enclosed look of the stock fenders, they remind me of a small aircraft. But they will limit tire width. For a wider tire and lightweight wheel for handling, the open fenders will probably be the way to go. Tirerack only lists a Bridgestone spare tire in the 135/80 R15 size, and chances are the Continentals that come with the Elio will be pretty hard to emphasize mileage.
