My wife keeps saying that they should make a four seater and I said that the only way to pull it off and keep the low DC is to have all the seating in a row. Could be good. Could put the loudest kid in the back.

The towing companies will make a fast buck towing you to a tire shop when you get a flat!

First words out of the gate and it's something that has been covered a hundred times all ready. Please read the other threads and learn what most all ready know. Thanks

Welcome from southern Oregon, BixOne. Once you get used to it this is a great forum. I hope you enjoy your journey to Elio Ownership. Gather some information, share some insight, laugh a lot, enjoy the great pictures taken by those lucky enough to attend an event and beware of lots and lots and lots of speculation (a grain of salt is recommended for first aid). It definitely helps the time pass by. :-) Z

First post, so I hope this hasn't already been covered. Tire costs should be very inexpensive because I'm thinking that the tire on the back should last through two, maybe three front tire cycles. So you should only have to replace the front tires the first time around, and maybe even the second. It's very common to get around 100,000 miles out of the rear tires on a light compact front wheel drive car if you don't rotate the tires and don't carry a lot of weight in the back.

BTW, that Drive Inn South of Roseburg was located on the East side of I-5 at the Winston/Dillard exit. They just took the screen down in the last 10 years. I live just 25 miles North of Roseburg so I pass by there sometimes.

Welcome Neighbor Ernie, I'm from Sutherlin, OR. Thanks for the information about the drivein. I have only lived here for 4 1/2 years. This a great forum with lots of friendly members and a great staff. We share a lot of information, a lot of speculation, and a lot of laughs. It is making the long Elio "gestation" period move along a little faster for some of us, a little slower for others. You are the closest Oregon reservationist so far but there is a man in Coos Bay, a man in Jacksonville, a couple in Medford, a man in Bend and a man in Cottage Grove. I believe there are others in Portland. I look forward to meeting you. Enjoy the journey to Elio ownership. LOL :-) Z
