I've looked at the options and their prices. Too high! If and when I get an Elio it will come the one option... automatic. As to other stuff, I'll wait and see what the after market has to offer.

But they said it would have different wiring harnesses depending on the options.
I would hate to have to wire mine.

One would think that with all those 25 million design dollars Paul and Elio Engineering would design in a universal, stubbed out, harness that would be conducive to later upselling of profit enhancing options. Few people would accept the cost and down time for an extensive re-harnessing. I bet if more people discover this oversight, EM will backpedal and/or declare that they have already virtually resolved this virtual problem. Time will tell.

Where has stts been ??? I miss his input !!!

New core to start with David; does it have a drive line? Or will you have to find one?

THE NEW ISETTA CAME WITH SOME GREAT PARTS .
IT HAS A NEWLY REBUILT ENGINE , TRANSMISSION AND CHAIN CASE !

THE MOTOR IS MISSING THE DYNASTART ASSY AND FAN .
BUT I ALREADY HAD ALL THOSE PARTS ON MY SPARES SHELF .

THE CHASSIS WAS DAMAGED AND BADLY REPAIRED AGES AGO .
THIS WAS LIKELY THE REASON THEY TOOK IT OFF THE ROAD .
I HAVE SOURCED ANOTHER FRAME AND WILL HAVE IT HOME SOON .

BEHOLD THE UGLINESS !

Now that looks like a good frame; but you'll find out after the sand blasting.
It could turn into a big piece of doggie do.
But from the picture, it looks like a winner!
