20%,,,, is that written in stone? Rather than deleating some of the standard items, why not bump up the profit margin on options to 25 or 30% ?

But they said it would have different wiring harnesses depending on the options.
I would hate to have to wire mine.
I just looked up what options cost on the Nissan VersaI've looked at the options and their prices. Too high! If and when I get an Elio it will come the one option... automatic. As to other stuff, I'll wait and see what the after market has to offer.
New core to start with David; does it have a drive line? Or will you have to find one?
THE NEW ISETTA CAME WITH SOME GREAT PARTS .
IT HAS A NEWLY REBUILT ENGINE , TRANSMISSION AND CHAIN CASE !
THE MOTOR IS MISSING THE DYNASTART ASSY AND FAN .
BUT I ALREADY HAD ALL THOSE PARTS ON MY SPARES SHELF .
THE CHASSIS WAS DAMAGED AND BADLY REPAIRED AGES AGO .
THIS WAS LIKELY THE REASON THEY TOOK IT OFF THE ROAD .
I HAVE SOURCED ANOTHER FRAME AND WILL HAVE IT HOME SOON .
BEHOLD THE UGLINESS !

Yep, looks to be pretty solid, just surface rust. Now that looks like a good frame; but you'll find out after the sand blasting.
It could turn into a big piece of doggie do.
But from the picture, it looks like a winner!
