Now I need to find a thread that predicts possible delivery dates based on projected production line output so I can get my vacation request turned for some date next year. I'll tell the wife to get the bags (very small bags) packed!

Does anyone have a date that Elio will start production. I have heard starting in Nov 2014, the 1st quarter in 2015, the 3rd quarter in 2015.

Looks like a lot of folks are on line because they got their number....Yippee!!!! So did I.....I became aware of 'Elio Motors on August 24th this year. Did the "All in" the same day. My number is 8173. Thinking hard about a second one. Does anyone know how much more an automatic will cost ?????

That is way cool! You became aware and went all-in on the same day, impressive. Just an approximate cost has been mentioned as "less than $1,000" for the automatic transmission. Definite costs for options won't be known for several months.
