Why Are Elio Owners In Interested In Elio?

When Facebook was blowing up on Elio's Facebook page, Elio responded by banning those people from their website. Understandable, many were ignorant naysayers with an ax to grind. Some were banned for asking the hard questions most of us fans didn't want to know. I try to keep an open mind because, like everyone here, I want this thing to happen. I look at the negative as well as all the positives. This one website by one of those people who was banned, show me this guy wanted the same information we all did. I don't see any derogatory comments on his site, but it appears he did a ton of research. Keep an open mind, and take a look at his site. Here's a link

Is there a $7.5 Million dollar fund locked in somewhere to pay a potential fine?

Yes, our all ins. The want in's are held in a refundable escrow account.

If they do pay the fine, how long is it good for? 6 months? Another year? Then what?

I am an All In and I want this just as much (if not more) than a lot of people; I keep seeing that letter show up that says "pick your options, we're building cars arriving for delivery in Q1".
But I also have to be a realist; I'm nervous that we're not seeing more at this point, especially after seeing the story of the Dale on TV the other night and then finding this article http://gas2.org/2013/08/21/the-elio-motors-saga-if-it-looks-like-a-dale-and-quacks-like-a-dale/
