If they want (or care) about 'feedback' on their CURRENT or NEWEST design...... all they have to do is PUBLISH it in their Weekly BLOG..... not too difficult! If they don't appreciate the 'comments'..... then just SHOW US something better.

How do you know that will not happen at some point? ...
Well it has been OVER 6 MONTHS.... and they haven't done it YET. Instead we have seen a 'worthless' COLOR CONTEST.... that 'wasted' a MONTH of BLOG reports, but no more information on the controversial Dash Design. Time is 'running out', IF they are to begin production of the "E" Series (including the production dash). Their 'replies' on FaceBook in this matter have shown a 'disregard' for consumer input..... and a poor PR approach; "
Elio Motors Hello Maureen, the Elgin inspired dash is planned to be standard, and if a vehicle that gets 84mpg on the highway and costs $6,800 isn't for you, than that's okay!"

Wow RogWild! Nice use of caps lock and bolded print! I can feel your agitation all the way out here in Missouri! I need to go meditate now to lower my blood pressure.

Voting is a waste of time. Paul doesn't care what a few think. He is getting his support and advice from those near to him.
If Paul went by what we thought we would see production already started.

the reply is their response to a facebook question from my wife and I certainly agree with the arrogant tone of their response being a poor PR approach .... she followed up by asking the following question : "Will there be an option for the P4 that is on tour? I understand options add to cost." .... this time the tone of their response seemed much more appropriate : "We may have some choices/options for the instrument panel, but our options aren't finalized at this point, so stay tuned closer to the start of production (on track to begin Q3, 2015) for what the options will be!" .... it now seems clear that the Elgin will be the OEM dash but there is hope that other options may exist

Based on the current progress reporting, status of the engine, and no word on E Series Builds..........I'm prepared for another delay, but 2015 is still possible. Elio did say yesterday that the engine is the priority and that it will take months to tool-up the factory for production......no word on E Builds. I think Elio cares what future owners think, listens to our concerns and ideas........but has to base their final decisions and specifications on what works from an engineering, design, and cost standpoint.

Maybe they will give us a real dash as an option.

So what if it has been over six months and they do other things on their blog? That means nothing at all as it is EM's blog and EM's information to do whatever they feel is best. They don't, and shouldn't, run the company based purely on the whims of random people on the internet. They may ask for our opinion at times, and/or read what is being discussed, however they will combine that information with other information and do whatever they feel is best for Elio Motors. As someone who has run his own business I can tell you that is not 'disregard' for consumer input but instead the smart way to run a business!

I will agree that the response to the question could have been phrased more tactfully however the social media team is composed of human beings and as such we can't expect them to always answer everything perfectly every time as they answer a lot of questions and respond to many comments every day. As the response to the follow up question, and a visit to their Facebook page, shows they actually do a great job handling the PR nightmare that is running a page which allows anybody and everybody to post comments and questions.

It is also a fact that the less than tactful answer was also spot on correct. If you don't like it then don't buy it!

I totally agree. Too bad Elio doesn't isn't as gifted for words, as our silver-tounged moderator. Goofyone for president. Put this thread to bed. Let's do another poll
