Enlisted in AF in Jan 57--4 yrs in maintenance of B-52s at Walker AFB. Changed AFSC in early 62 to Titan ICBMs. Was on a combat instructor crew at Denver until Jan 65. Married my wife at Roswell in Oct 3 59 so we will celebrate a 55 wedding aniversary !!!!! I don't know if she will like the Elio like I will but I think so//Time will tell.
Congrats on 55 years Tommy! Hats off to you and your wife so few make it past 10 years now days. We celebrate 30 years together on Oct. 10th but have only been married 1 year.
Music Man, unlike some we do not shout it out, that's not our style. However, we will never deny it either, if asked.

Norah, don't know your age, but I've been around far too long now to be that narrow minded, and life is too short to think any of us have the right to pass judgement on anyone.

Ya know, all that we are reading about the size of the Elio trunk, sounds like it will be about the right size for a picnic basket and a beer cooler!
Since you are from Denver you have probably either heard or know first hand about the missle sites east of denver. It seems that some are home to me. We spent 24 hrs underground and supposedly 48 hrs off. Unfortunetly we were normally working the second day off. Nice to hear from someone from Denver. Hope you enjoy your Elio as I know I will. Music Man, wife and I will be 56 & 58 later this year, and your right it will hold a small picnic basket and small cooler or medium sized cooler. The idea is, it will hold carry on size suitcase in the trunk or golf club bag with the backseat down. When we went to the event in Broomfield, several of the women put their oversized purses in the trunk to judge its size. Maybe flopping the passenger seat forward...yeah, that might do it.
Tommy, that's the military for you. I always got a kick out of the commercial that said "We get more done before 9 AM than most people do all day". That's because we'd already put in 24 hours and had another 12 to go before we saw our bed! LOL
The problem will be larger coolers, you won't get one in the trunk opening. So time to stock up on 12 & 24 pk size!Not the way I drink it!
