Personally I don't like "capless" fillers because whatever road schmutz is on the filler gets pushed into the filler neck by the nozzle and then washed into the tank by the gasoline. No problem if they had external, replaceable fuel filters, but all cars now have in-tank non-replaceable filters.

In Oregon it's state law that they have to pump the gas for you; I'm OCD enough that I would take a rag with me to wipe off a capless filler before putting the gas nozzle in, but I highly doubt that some minimum wage schmuck would do the same in Oregon.

You think you dislike them under normal conditions, wait till you have to use the special little funnel and then put in gas from one of those Gawd awful CARB compliant gas fillers. It has happened to me just once. Glad I live way out in the country or I would have given some interesting vocabulary lessons to the neighborhood.

For the love of!!! This group will discuss anything to death! Iam supprised we haven't talked about what color/shape the keys should be..
What have I done?

Great idea; I'd really like to have a keyless ignition; just leave the key fob (RFID tag) in my pocket, walk up to the vehicle and have it unlock automatically (and lock when you walked away) sit down, buckle up and push the START button. Make optional memory setting that would adjust the seat, mirrors, climate control and radio station. Great topic to bring up BB :thumb: :very_drunk:
