What's wrong with Louisiana not having any members? After all, the Elio is being built in your state, and with the look of the economy, you folks could be in the cat-bird seat when this thing takes off and there is a big push to make more for half of America.

You will have a ton of visitors spending money all across the state if all the vendors create things in the large warehouse thats on site. I'm excited for you all, and jealous they didn't pick Alabama to make it in. I know we could have a limited edition Roll Tide and War Eagle version, and fans around here would go crazy.

Reserved my Elio this past week, signed up for this site today. Don't know what the dynamic is concerning popularity of the Elio hereabouts. Media had great coverage when initial accouncement was made but nothing since. I was reminded when a Yahoo article aired.

Gavin, welcome to the forum and the Elio family. There are probably more out there in Louisiana who just haven't found their way to this forum yet. New Mexico is like that, I think we only have about half a dozen reservations so far. Hope you enjoy it because it will keep you up to date on what is happening and the growing number of Elio fans including the new ones in your area. The forum is informative, frustrating, and entertaining with great people expressing their dreams and fantasies to pass the time until they get their Elio's.
