I fear your 2 cents has been spent on jumping to the wrong conclusion .... the announced purpose of the tour is to educate, not to sell .... granted, by providing information, a favorable/exciting atmosphere it does in fact generate sales that are handled by the regular process .... they want people to come, look and listen without fear that someone is trying to pressure them into buying something .... if asked, they will take reservations and log them in at an event .... at our request they took ours in Charlotte in December of 2014 .... while we were there I saw no less than 6 members of the tour working with people in line, giving out information, and answering questions .... one never knows what answers a well intentioned but untrained volunteer may give .... with all of the haters out there, the chance of misinformation being put forward is just too great
First of all it would be TC BRONSON,s....2 cents, because he wrote the paragraph that I and others agree on.This is a sale representation no matter how you look at it. To spend the amount of money and time of everyone that is involved whether it is Elio and staff, or future clients and potential investors. We are at least one year behind, we do not want to throw any type of opportunity away. Just one person alone had ten hours involved traveling to and from this event along with visiting and I am sure they would have appreciated a better representation. They and others are driving on roads in which anything can happen just trying to ease their concerns from so many delays of production.

I happen to be one person who drove close to 10 hours, right at 500 miles round trip over mostly 2 lane roads to see the P5 .... the presentation offered was exactly as was advertised .... from the reactions exhibited by the hundreds of people we saw and spoke with, I'd say the exhibit was a success .... many of us have seen their full, multi day setup and their short setup for a 7 hour display like they put on in Shreveport .... most of the complaints I've heard have been about the tour not being put on close enough .... not about the product, the staff or the program offered .... once you get a chance to stand in line and experience the excitement/enthusiasm of the people around you, you might be able to make a judgement based on better info ....I can't speak for anyone else but our time, effort, and money spent yesterday wasn't wasted, rather it reinforced the fact that we believe they are making progress and are on their way to production

You pretty well answered any more questions, I am glad you are safe. Quote....I happen to be one person who drove close to 10 hours, right at 500 miles round trip over mostly 2 lane roads to see the P5 ..

The only way I could personally justify that kind of time on the road and standing in a line would be for an Elio test drive, which I hope will be offered soon in scheduled ride and drive events for reservationists. I appreciate the photos and info that all of you have posted after seeing the Elio in person. Thank you.

understandable .... in talking with folks we did learn that many traveled from good distances .... our decision to go was influenced by a couple of things that are important to us .... one, my wife was nice enough about it but really didn't like the claustrophobic feel she had in the back seat of the P4 .... we wanted to see just how much improvement they made in the design of the P5 .... if she felt the same way about the P5, that could have been a deal breaker for us .... glad to report, she felt much better about the sitting in the P5 .... as a side note, we saw one couple about our age walk up to a point 15+/- feet from the P5 where the lady said, "NO, I don't like it" .... he didn't look to happy but they turned around and walked off .... another thing I wanted to see was the Elgin dash in place .... its no secrete that I haven't cared for it from day one but I promised a member of EM that I'd reserve judgement until I saw it mounted in an Elio .... sitting in the P5 as well as looking in from both sides when we got close to it, I honestly tried to be objective .... bottom line for me, I still don't like the looks of it .... that won't stop of from buying an Elio but it will motivate me to one day replace it .... of lesser importance, I wanted to see how the exhaust cover looked and how the exhaust port related to the gasoline fill port .... thankfully those turned out to be non issues .... given what we learned, we feel much better about our decision to place an All In reservation ....
