100 Preproduction Elio's To Be Built In December!!

1. So, what level of feedback would be expected? Weekly check-off sheets? 5 sheets of paper describing our feelings? Engineering analysis showing that, heck yeah we can put wings on this puppy?

2. Can we do "fleet purchases" with the goal of giving these things away? I'm thinking of advertising raffles, i.e., "Come in and by $50 worth of locally-grown pork products (pork rinds included) and be entered into a raffle to win the American Built Elio!" or even giving it to your church to raffle off at the church's summer festival?

Do we know if all the 100 units are accounted for ? If not , I am liking this faux fleet idea . Setup an online LLC and
"hire" folks who are ready and willing to buy their "company" vehicle . Easy Peezy albeit a bit sleezy ....

As reported by pistonboy, the 100 Elios will be leased and returned to Elio Motors at some time.

So, stay with me.

We could have a start-up company, say Elio Owners, LTD., who would hire Owner Operators with the proviso that they would drive Elios as part of their COMPENSATION and all they would need is an investment of about $7000. The purpose of the company would be compatible with Elio Motor Company since driving them a lot would be the job and feedback would be the purpose.

Works for me.

Before you move forward with this, you might want to check with EM to see if they will allow it.
Be a shame to go through all the effort only to find out they aren't going to play along.

With all the recent news about politicians hiding money in shell companies, NPR started to do some digging. It turns out that it is SUPER easy to get a company incorperated in either Wyoming or Delaware. I suggest we start Faux Fleet Co. in one of those states

This has probably come up before, but I'm too lazy to look it up. As far as this "Faux Furreal Auto Testing LLC" is concerned, would the owner-operators be able to also work for Uber? I imagine that would give all kinds of feedback re: car comfort.

The employer that brought me to Texas was incorporated in Delaware for that reason, it is supposed to be absurdly easy.
