I'm already certain I want the Elio, locking in to get a $200 bump in the base price instead of $500 is pretty much a no-brainer.

Considered that -- want the clarity of a forced choice poll. What I'm interested in is getting even an approximate handle on the "wash out" percentage -- the percentage of reservation holders who do NOT plan to lock in, for whatever reason. When Elio did A+ crowdfunding, the "wash out" percentage (or call it the cold feet percentage if you like) was very high, much higher than anyone (except Paul Elio himself) thought. They wound up with fewer than half the possible number of investors under that program, and less than half the possible money. This request is even more important to the company, because a large number of commitments is needed -- so a lot of wash-outs creates a disproportionate and possibly skewed picture of demand for the car.

It's like this -- a pretty good proportion of washouts actually do want the car and will buy the car -- it's the nature of the commitment that is scaring them off. It would be handy to be able to tell EM in a week or so, OK, here's what you're losing. How about revising the commitment document so it's more two-way and less open-ended?

But this has to be done quickly, so putting in a "thinking about it" option on the poll just stalls the thing out.

From reviewing the http://www.elioowners.com/threads/lock-in.7593/ Lock-In thread it seems that many more Members have Committed and Locked-in but have not voted on this Poll just yet cause perhaps many of these Members have not run across this Thread and Poll yet.

Wondering if perhaps the Lock-In Thread should be edited by the Original poster of a Moderator to include the Poll on that Thread.

I would like to be locked but when I submit my info it says " You do not have a non-refundable reservation" I do have a non refundable since 2014 so I'm not sure what the problem is. I E mailed Elio and not heard back.
