Hi, I am from the Orlando area, have allot of stories to tell, but I will just start with my pix which was apparently copied from FB. That pic is me and friend from about 2009 while I was volunteering at Give Kids the World (www.gktw.org). I played Mayor Clayton from 2002-2013 and continue to volunteer there every week, but now I deliver pizza to the families.

I am on the left, that is my Triumph Daytona 675 which I totaled in 2012 :(

Thank you. We Love kids, that's our story!
My wife and I thought "there are wayyy too many kiddos without good parents".. After seeing all of the crimes perpetrated against them we wanted to help!
The best way is to help as many as you can. Lots of heartbreak and sorrow, but the successes out weigh all the bad!!! After a bout with drugs in my early years, got myself clean and sober. Been helping as much as we can since!!

Single most missing thing in this world is the correcting love of the father. I can't think of anything more important than you raising kids with a sound Christian code of ethics. PS I hope you learned not to slug teachers. LOL

I was raised in a good Christian home. We had our problems but doesn't everybody?
I have learned a lot that I now try very hard to pass on to All my kids..
We attend church regularly. Our eldest daughter and myself are Sunday school teachers. ( Yes I learned not to hit them)!

Maybe one day we'll meet and we can exchange stories. Mine has too many twists to post here! Lol

Pheww I was areal mess as a youngster! Which I think gives me a unique view of kids, that's one reason we became fostor parents.
"Been there. Done that"!!

Gentlemen, while it is a very good discussion about home and life values, I'm going to ask you to leave the religious part out of the limelight.
Not everyone everywhere will share your point of view.
So let's continue back to the core topic; Who Are Our Members?

Thank you

It is clear that Elio has caught the attention of a diverse section of the population. We have average Joe's, some well off folks looking to add a unique vehicle to the stable, couriers who need one seat and low fuel costs, husband and wife who both want the front seat who are buying a pair of Elio's, single vehicle families that need a backup car and can't afford a 125,000 mile used car, tuners who are trying to figure out how to get over 100 hp, and some other tuners figuring how to get over 100 mpg, and it seems like there are more than a few of us who are motorcycle riders like me who are looking for a bike that they don't have to hold up and has a heater.

I am a 60 year old guy living in my RV since my divorce 14 years ago. Frugal living has allowed me to afford to help my kids in college and cruise around in a 1964 Cessna 150 and a 1979 XT 500 Yamaha. Two trips to the artic ocean in Alaska on the old bike from Whitehorse Yukon. Picked up a 2007 KLR650 3 years ago and rode to Prudhoe Bay Alaska from Utah (3500 miles one way). I rode both ways and put 9018 miles on the three week trip. Everyone on this forum has great stories and amazing lives and have one thing in common that they are dreamers and passionate doers. I am glad to be associated with this group.

Go Elio!!

You hit the nail on the head. We are a merry band of misfits. Wouldn't want it any other way.

I hate to disagree, but although I might be a misfit, I think the group is more of the best-fit kind of people. Hard working and forward thinking! Some more successful than others but, but movers and shakers all. There are a few negative comments once in a while, but I like what I read about here.

Go Elio!!
