Just to share with all, how I feel about the Elio. My wife has wanted me to sell the gold that I have found over the past 10 years. I told her that when I found something that I didn't want to live without, I would sell. I found the Elio. This is what I gave up for it.

Jan 1 2017 I gave up. I will never see the email asking for final payment and to arrange delivery of ELIO #8019. I knew it was a gamble so no tears . But done there will be no EILO in 2017 or 2018 or.......
Retired again, bought another new bike time to move on.

My number is 17,532. I have waited a long time to get my Elio and I believe in the Elio. At 66, I don't have a lot of years to wait and still enjoy my ride. I couldn't keep waiting for the Elio. So I bought a Polaris Slingshot SLR. Cost way more that I wanted to pay. But it is a blast. It's pretty fine and lots of fun. But it is cold having that fun right now in that open cab. The Elio and the Slingshot are two different rides and I still want my Elio and can't wait until my number comes up. No...not my number like dying from the long production wait.....I mean my number like 17,532...like finely getting my Elio. Hope the Elio trikes make early production in 2017. Anxious.

Get over it. I've been on board for 3 years, and I'm 71 1/2. Like you, I'm frustrated. But at 66 you don't get to play the geezer card.
It will come, or it will not. Wait and find out.

I guess we'll see if we get better loan results from the DOE under Rick Perry than we got when it was under Dr. Ernest Moniz.
Only time will tell.
