Whoa! Been awhile since I've been to this thread, and it looks it needs to pulled out of the ditch and put back on the tracks!:rolleyes::D

Okay, not sure it this got discussed over the 170 and some-odd pages, but I just thought of something that's existed since the inception of the motorcycle that would make changing a rear flat tire a breeze. How about something like a H-type [not sure of the correct term] kickstand. Make it drop down with a pull of a lever from the driver's seat, throw the Elio in reverse, and up goes the rear end. When you're done just drive forward and push the lever to the up/locked position. All you'd need is a Trunk Monkey to change the tire for you and you'd never even have to get out of the vehicle. Now you're saying, "But Kevin [that's me], the Elio has no spare tire to change!" This is true, but finding and fixing/plugging the leak would be MUCH easier if you could have the rear wheel in the air.

My BMW R50 was so well balanced on the center stand that if you removed the rear wheel, it would balance on the center stand and the front wheel, and vice versa when you removed the front wheel. That might be a bit much to ask for the Elio, however... :D:rolleyes:

Gonna need a "Plan B" for the front wheels, but we've got plenty of time to come up with something that would work better than a standard jack...That's soooo 20th century!
