Have you guys had an opportunity to see the Elio in person? It isn't as small as it seems in pictures.

Unless you're looking from directly in front/behind, it appears about the same size as any relatively modern 4-wheel coupe.

No, I haven't had the pleasure of seeing one on display. I need to seat in one, May be Paul will have one in Az. Before long.

I've only seen the P4 in person, but that was enough to all but eliminate any concerns I had about visibility. It's not a dominating presence like a monster truck, but the unique form factor makes it more eye catching than its (surprisingly generous) size accounts for. I'd put it somewhere on the visibility scale between a compact car and a standard sedan.

And I do know they come to AZ on occasion. I saw the P4 when the tour team stopped by a Pep Boys in Phoenix a year or so back.

That article is really off in some of it's so called facts

1) In 20-13, 50-thousand people made non-refundable deposits | They may want to check numbers here, that's not quite true
2) Also revealed in the report. answers to why equipment inside the former General Motors plant in Shreveport was gutted and sold. (*not quite)
Remember Elio Motors is only leasing the building and last year it's company president, Paul Elio was grilled by government officials demanding to know what happened to the equipment. | The lawsuit has nothing to do with Elio motors, it is Racers Trust that the case is against.
3) Now 2017, and to date you can count on one hand the number of cars Elio has built | Only if you have 8 fingers on one hand
4) Sick of unmet promises and delays, at least one Elio's buyer is taking the company to court to get their reservation money back. | Yup, knew that, it was filed in small claims court, and is months away from being heard. Once someone reads the contract, it most likely tossed out.
5) Tomorrow on KTBS-3 News at 6, we'll have Paul Elio's full interview and his response to critics who say his company is a fraud. Guess I'll have to go to that stations website and see the interview.

And if they start production in late Q4 like we've been told they are, true that you wouldn't get one till 2018.
It is all money dependent, and we have known this for a long time.

This is yet another bullshit hit piece. It's full of inaccuracies and misrepresentations. (Not to mention the atrocious grammatical, spelling, and formatting errors.) Their "professor of Economics at Centenary College and Linco Chair of Business Administration" should know better than to lend his name to this garbage reporting. You'll notice that they didn't quote EM's letter addressing the improper interpretation of the financial statements.
