No, They have been laid off. Neil was the only one to show up. He lives 5 minutes away from that corner and wasn't doing anything that afternoon. It was great to see him. It was volunteer and just have him there was a great shot in the arm. He loves the project as much as the VPs.

Can I get frame measurements so i can start building underbody "aero-panels"? Mainly the engine trans area.

Hooter, it was wonderful to meet you. I hope you will be able to come June 24th, 2:00 at Tony Pacos in Toledo. The Restaurant didn't appear to be handicap compliant, do you have a manual chair to bring? And I really want you to RSVP because I will arrange for a table downstairs for us all.

WELL, THE ELIO WOULDN'T START !!!! They had jumper cables in the trailer but no body to jump it. It was so funny. These guys are friggen VPs ! Not the finely tuned sales team. Final one of the pretty pick up truck got into the "Member's Only" parking lot and the boys got the elio started. About 25 - 30 people held our breaths while these NON professionals backed the elio out into the sun shine. The Sales Team had that down. and drove it around the corner to the .... appointed corner. I got an attitude about this corner People. Between TWO major hospitals with ambulance blaring every 8 to 12 minutes and rude people stopping their vehicles in the middle of the street gracing Our Pretty E-1C, blocking seven cars behind them full of angry people and the celebrating gang of people around it .

You would think with all of the people that were waiting to get a glance of this vehicle someone would have least covered the basics of the vehicle to be operating and with handing out brochures. This just feeds into those who want to make a negative comments and disappoints many who reserved Elios along with holding stock.

Well, That's my report. Some notes: Battery is going in the trunk and all lug nuts are going to turn the same way, like normal. Dave & I stayed till 6:30. Through out the day the crowd swelled to 150 people at times. I hope next time they pick a better meeting place, like the middle of the woods or a McDonald's parking lot. EVERYBODY was celebrating, joyful and thrilled to be there. Friendly and up beat. Weather was beautiful. Dave & I ate at Tony Pacos in Toledo and I got home about mid-night. I am so happy I went. Last note, the 'elephant questions' were not asked or they weren't answered. Sorry.

Your right. I was disappointed in that. The Sales Team wouldn't of forgotten such a thing. But, these guys were stepping out of their regular duties. They learn a lot about us in the process. At one time I noticed Chip sitting by himself playing on his fancy phone. I sat next to him and asked what was he doing? He was trying to answer like 400 email from people like you & me. We have been bombarding them. People, nothing has changed, we are still waiting on funding, and they want this as much as we do. People say it's not moving fast enough. That's true but it is still very real. For a new start up company with little experience learning the ropes and tackling new shit everyday AND still doing it after EIGHT YEARS, is amazing. We are in good hands. We have something to be proud of.
