He does need to say something to stop the massive selling.
Even though the NASDAQ listing is going through in the spring he needs to calm down the current stockholders and let them know that something big is going to happen soon but he can't tell you what it is and when. Maybe something like the long term testing of the engine or a video of Continental demonstrating the ABS and stability control system. Those are stories that people will feel good about and then the stock price will go back up because they are reporting on the progress instead of hiding it.

What could Paul say? "No intention of giving up" ? We already know that.
What ElioMotors could say is, we are willing to let a Big Money Buyer in to take us to production, and a controlling interest would be acceptable.
Sharing the Elio Motors endeavor is the only way I can see for Paul to get this done.

Agree 100%. Like I've said before he's a great inventor and engineer, but his PR skills need work. He does need to say something to stop the massive selling.
Great inventors and engineers actually build things. Perhaps he's more of a great dreamer and marketer. His PR skills were good enough to lock in 65,000 reservations, most non-refundable. Paul Elio is a genius.

I have asked ElioMotors to put out a new video. Twice. No new video yet, just a Thank You for your support.

There's always the chance that EM saying, "we are willing to let a Big Money Buyer in to take us to production, and a controlling interest would be acceptable." would send the stock down to 15 cents a share. Not everyone feels the way we do. It's the old be careful what you wish for thing.

I would not call Paul an excellent engineer for the field he decided to go into. He's an excellent dreamer and salesperson. Obviously, he can now add fundraiser to his credentials. The thing is, he has has his own engineering firm going constantly since the early 2000's. So maybe he should just stick to running that and let someone else run the Motor Vehicle division. I could understand if ESG went out of business and he tried something new but he didn't. So, sometimes you need to stick with what you know. He got a great thing going. Time to hand off the running of it to someone else and then he can reap the financial rewards down the road. Honestly, they need to keep him on as the spokesperson as he did a better job than anyone else I have ever seen.
