Arcimoto is also partnering and has current fleet sales reservations. The made in the USA ‘FUV’ with it’s hot or cold Deliverator Model option appears more functional. Did I mention, like Elio, the FUV will be manufactured in the USA, for many potential customers a preference having a major advantage over the Canadian/manufactured in China SOLO.

Keep in mind the center lights on yellow in the photo above are temporary. The production center lights will be design integrated. Also, the city of Eugene Uber Lyft rolls out the AMP today. The value added second seat. Cool to see the FUV on the Streets.

Why are the outside original lights now yellow or amber? Weren't they originally the headlights? Will they be used for something else or will they go away?

The Center lights were added to meet The Federal manufacturing motorcycle certification requirements. The lights in the photo are temporary and will be replaced by a more integrated styling. The Sig Series Owners stated the original headlights stay on as Amber running lights. As a result, the FUV will be more highly visible to other drivers for that extra margin of safety.

Plus the NHTSA compliance requirements stipulate that a motorcycle must automatically have lights on while it is being operated.
I believe those requirements actually include the headlight(s) as well on a vehicle federally classified as a motorcycle.

A system that enables the operator to have the option of turning those lights off while the vehicle is being operated is not permitted.

It's also a requirement for passing state inspection for most, if not all, states that have a yearly motorcycle safety inspection.
Again, even the ones that have passed their own auto-cycle legislation still have to abide by the federal equipment requirements.

I actually like the headlight fixtures as they are for that vehicle. It gives it a great "Baja" vibe.

Perhaps the headlamps will integrate into the new grill panel with a similar look to the Morgan’s. However, I do anticipate a sleeker styling over that Baja or retro look. Curious to see sketches of the different options being considered.

Its to bad that lights have to on in the daytime on a motorcycle rated EV. Going to eat up the batteries.

I have asked Arcimoto twice somewhat recently about a promotion for us $1,000 all in Elio reservationist that can be applied to the cost of their EV like a SOLO did/was offering Elio reservationist. I even asked if the credit could be applied to options and not the base vehicle cost. I get no answer.
