What Can I Do With This Elio?...I started this thread to bring out inventive ideas on what you can do with this vehicles exterior / interior schemes, towing and being towed. Here are a few examples for exterior and interior designs that I took off the web for starters. I am planning to be in warm / hot sun shinning weather most of the time and I would pick a color to reflect the sun light off my vehicle. Those who live in cooler / cold areas may pick a dark color to absorb the sunlight to warm up their vehicle during daylight hours.

When light strikes a surface, some of its energy is reflected and some is absorbed. The color a person perceives indicates the wavelength of light being reflected. White light contains all the wavelengths of the visible spectrum, so when the color white is being reflected, that means all wavelengths are being reflected and none of them absorbed, making white the most reflective color.

As a form of energy called electromagnetic radiation, light travels in waves with some of its colors having longer wavelengths than others. The visible light humans see as the color white consists of a rainbow of colors in the electromagnetic spectrum that range from blue to red, with yellow, orange, green and multiple variations sandwiched between them, as in a rainbow after a storm. Blue and violet have shorter wavelengths and higher energy, and, at the opposite end of the spectrum, red wavelengths are longer, but have lower energy.

Adding white to a color is called tinting the color, and it increases the color's reflectivity. The contrasting procedure is to add black to decrease the reflectivity. This is called shading.

Side Car Bob: Take a look at hitches for Harley Davidson.
Something similar to that should work. Four mounting points, 2 on each side. Mounted to the cargo area floor frame and dropping down to the right hight. And maybe a bolt on bar on the left side to help with a tire change.

Unofficial weight calculator: This is the formula to figure out the tow weight and it can change...30% of the weight of the Elio...Elio est.1,350 lbs = 405 lbs, but there is passenger weight. Myself 200 lbs, add 60 lbs = 465 lbs.to pull for myself but this weight must be checked.
