Just wondering how long elio keeps the order in pending?

Nice to see a business person actually going against grain in the US.

Used to be what America was all about.

Happy to kick in a few bucks just to see it work.

I'm with you in you sentiments. I've always gone with the underdogs.

It is also possible that a number have already been allocated for those purposes. I have not seen anyone show their number being below 200.

I think the lowest number in our membership is #61. The reservation was made in January 2013. :-) Z

There is important information about how to upgrade from refundable to "all in" in this weeks EM Blog. Be sure to read it if this is something you are interested in. They say they have made it much easier so I am guessing this means this has become a popular question. :-) Z

Yeah, but don't go to the airport with more than a few hundred. Those scanners can actually count the bills in your wallet. Anything $20 or larger will scan. If you do have a wad of cash, be prepared to answer lots of questions before they'll let you through.

Don't forget to pack your tin-foil hat either.
My wife and I always travel with cash and leave the plastic at home. A grand will take care of a week vacation and we've never been questioned about it.

Log on to the Elio Motors website and click on reservation, then click on upgrade. You will be able to then check your account and it will give your the amount of your reservation and the date.

Thanks. I started this journey in Oct 2013 when I saw the Elio for the first time and was immediately intrigued by it. I immediately made my first reservation and then two subsequent upgrades. I was unaware of the Elio Owners forum until March 2014. Never dreamed that I would have 1000 posts on any forum. The members of this forum are great people and have plenty of opinions about the Elio. More importantly, most of them are well versed, have valid questions, and are helpful and willing to provide answers for others. It is this wonderful group of people who make the forum so enjoyable. More important to me is that my Posts vs Likes has continually increased and is now 1.80 which makes me feel my contributions are appreciated and are helpful to others.
