I want to say it was the Yahoo! Autos video that u first noticed the "il-io" mentioned. Now I know Yahoo! Links and borrows stories from many different sources so I cannot point out which one I am referring to. If I run across it again I'll be sure to share it.

In my opinion,
If Paul pronounces his name EEElio, I'm good with that

'EEElio' just sounds better, more assertive, has more impact, catches the eye more when seen in print, the ear when heard, much more than a wimpy 'il-lio'

I have never seen the "Elio" called by any other name. The car name should be the "Elio" by Elio Motors. In the future when different option lines are announced they can put a name on it then. For instance an Elio with a forward thermal imaging system called the Elio Vision. Or perhaps an Elio with a special tow package and RV pod called the Elio Expedition. To me it will always be "The Elio".
