I don't really monitor speed either. Just get up to the speed that the rest of the rushhour maniacs are going, and hit 'cruise'...cops can't pull EVERBODY over. My drive (84 miles...exactly) is 99.8% highway. Boeing has it's own exit off of I-170 that dumps directly into the east parking lot, and you can get back on south bound at the end of the day...pretty sweet!

Back to the options and upgrades: I do like the HUD, not necessary, but pretty cool anyway, probably going to get one. And if I install a HUD, I'm tempted to get the P-40 Warhawk wrap, and mount a couple of 50 cals. up front for the texters doing 40 mph in the fastlane...man they piss me off! Even of they didn't shoot real bullets (like I would mount one that actually did), it'd still be fun to pretend.

Oh yes they can. I was in a group of over 100 cars that the Maryland state police pulled over (in 1999). They blocked off the entire interstate and walked down the road issuing tickets to every car that had been identified going over the limit - which was just about every single car there.

There have been several times in South Carolina and Georgia where I've passed a dozen+ cars pulled over.

I do 75 - 80 mph on the way to work everyday, and cops are the only ones passing me (without lights flashing). Oddly, it's around the same time of the morning that Krispy Kreme sets out a fresh batch....coincidence?

Maybe some full-auto paintball markers with the extra-large feed hoppers would do the job here; if nothing else, you'd be doing the other drivers a favor by marking the brain-dead for future reference! :p They'd have to be a lot cheaper to feed as well, given that .50 BMG ammo was $5 a round the last time I checked.

Brainstorming! I like it NN4S! And the sound of the paint balls smacking their trunk 'might' [not saying they're aware enough of their surroundings to respond] bring them back to the task at hand....getting the hell out of my way!

I was caught in a line of 12 cars in northern California the same way. It DOES happen.

50 caliber paint balls. That's the answer!
