Electric Elio May Be Closer Than You Think. Or Not.

Two things, drop the back seat and the clubs will fit in the trunk..

Also, the one with the fastest cart gets the best lie.
Not very conducive to club selection, and I would hate to have to open the trunk every time you needed a different club. I agree with the best lie part.

if you had a choice, simply checking a different box when ordering online, same price …

would you choose an EV Elio or an ICE Elio ??

as the Elio is sold as " a second "commuter" vehicle" range is not really a selling point , correct ??

if a flat battery pack which could be dropped off and new one clipped back up as needed …

no oil changes

no exhaust

no NEW engine technology needed

etc

??

I commute 45 miles each way so range is a vital part of the equation in my case. Also, I need heat, lights, demist for the screen.

ICE is the only way and I suspect it will have to be that way for the next decade or so. Once I've retired, in theory in eight years time, I will not need an Elio because I won't be commuting.

ICE for me too. 84 mile round trip for work, and unbelievable delays that can pop up on I-270 (for no apparent reason) on the way home. Took me 4 hours to get home one day because we got a little snow. Easier to find a gas station than an outlet if I'm running low on 'juice'.
