I have read on the blog and in emails that Elio recently announced they were going to include the SkyzMatic system as an option for the Elio. I do consider myself a tech-head and this makes me even more excited about this car. I am currently at the $100 reservation level, but this alone is a BIG seller for me and I could see myself jumping up to the $1000 level. One problem though, all the news releases have specifically mentioned connectivity with the IPhone, but nothing about Android. I am not an IPhone user, mainly because I do not like the closed architecture of these devices. Does anyone know if this connectivity will also be available to Android users or are we being left out in the cold?

I thought I read someplace it will be for Android also. But I do not want it anyway. I want simple and cheap.

By the time the Elio is produced the SkyzMatic will also be available for Android. That was part of the original announcement. :-) Z

Nowhere as near as comprehensive, but what I ordered for $150. Hopefully double DIN will be an Elio option.
