Paul Elio seemed flustered in the NBC 6 News interview. The interviewer is the same person that did the walk thru in Shreveport, LA facility tour. He seemed to keep Paul on track. I'm sure it is hard for him. I hope this will not hurt the PR too bad. I do feel it will cutoff the sales a little.

The CON comes in when Paul KNEW before the Caddo meeting that it was a no show. They just made him say it 9 months early. He conned us.

Get up on the wrong side of the world today or do you assume the worst possible scenario with everything in life??

What pisses me off about this is that we have been misled about the financial strength of the company. Time and again we've been told that the money was there to get the test fleet built; yet construction on them has not begun. And it is bullshit to say that they have to wait on engines to get going on the frames, etc.

Now we learn the truth -- that they're 240 million shy of the necessary, not 185 as we were told last summer.

If I were Mr. Elio, I'd find some way to get those 25 cars built and tested. That would help raise money. And if he can't do it -- well, I did not consider him a liar. But no progress on test cars means no money, and no money means no Elio by 2016 or any other time.

The delay til first half 2016 is no surprise. The surprise will come if they actually get the car in production by June 1, 2016. Bummer!

Thanks for posting this. So I do wish Paul would stop beginning every sentence with "so." It's an annoying habit, unbecoming in the young, and disgusting in otherwise educated people.

On the plus side, had production started in September, the schedule (http://www.elioowners.com/attachments/elip-production-estimate-jpg.2270/) that someone here put together predicted I'd get my Elio sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Living in the upper mid-west, that isn't the time of year I'd choose to get a new, 3 wheeled vehicle. Even going to Shreveport and driving it back that time of year could be 'interesting', and I'd really like to do the plant tour if it's offered. Getting it summer 2016 would work better in that regard. I've actually been 'planning' on 2016 for several months. I've been around manufacturing too much to believe they could pull everything together by September.
