Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe John Painter started the petition on this forum, so nobody, other than the people on this forum would know about it....I think.

It has also been posted on FB many times. I was also disappointed in the response to the petition...

Why have to "sniff it out"? Elio Motors SCHEDULED IT, they CANCELLED IT, they gave a ?'reason'?, they haven't RE-SCHEDULED yet. Be PATIENT..... "Keeping our customers up to date in a timely manner on our progress is incredibly important to our mission"... Paul Elio!.

I hated "liking" your posted... but the truth hurts! It is the most astounding screw up I have witnessed so far.

Based on nothing? I am very much an Elio supporter but after announcing Feb. 6 as the big starting of that engine, that was a pretty big deal... especially after the latest postponement of production being announced. Elio keeps shooting themselves in the foot... this one seems to have been completely unnecessary! They obviously didn't have their ducks lined up!

IAV cancelled the engine start date .... EM didn't .... while I agree that I'd of liked to have seen a better handling of the information release, the fact is it wasn't their doing .... the latest delay for production was reported to be due to insufficient funding .... because of prior statements that funding was available, I too have some questions about .... they are most certainly going through some tough times, my hope is they get their act together and do a better job of communicating about the things they can control

Can you provide some verification that IAV cancelled the EM scheduled Official Start of the engine?

Green Lake is about 13 miles as the crow flies North of me.

I posted on the NW Elio Owners on Facebook that I would have a get together after I get home with my EMV. Lyall Smith is number 398 and lives South of me said he would also join in.

Should be a fun time!!!
