I use the Yummly app (free) when looking for something different. Have found lots of recipes for quinoa, which we use now instead of white rice.

So anyway, I am thinking about making Frogmore Stew for a summer cookout, would this seasoning work in that. I don't know where to find a crab bag.

We go to El Dorado. My sister is there with her family and the in-laws. My Mom moved there to be near the grandsons. It is a nice town and area.

Here in WV it is still the slaughterhouse. We take our own beef over there every year. This year after the guys home slaughtered the hogs, we took the bacon and hams over there to get smoked. The best $95 we have spent on food service!! The guys are now looking for plans on how to build their own smoker.

The term Slaughterhouse makes me think back too my elementary school days class field trip to the local slaughterhouse, John Morrel & Co.. A liesurely walk through the Beef Kill, Hog Kill, Butchering, Processing, and Packaging Divisions and handed an uncooked hot dog as we left to munch on during the drive back to school. Oh, the good old school days.

it has been in the same location for just over 100 years and while it specializes in ice cream and candy they also offer a distinctively different sandwich menu .... pictures below :

4 - 6 .... they charge $8.99 for a BLT and its worth every penny .... no clue how much bacon comes on each sandwich, it has to be over a pound .... a toothpick that they used to hold half of my sandwich together, my hand is in the picture with the toothpick that they use to hold the sandwich together so to show how long it is.... sandwiches come with chips and a pickle .... I had a chocolate shake that was really very good
