Maybe just have a "cold weather pack". That would be heated seats, steering wheel, washer nozzles, block heater and headlight washers. I know that the Canadian and Nordic countries would buy that pack as it's almost mandatory. Then, there should b a "snow tire pack" which would be three wheels...
I went to the site and had to make an account. So I used a burner email and if anyone else does, it would be a good idea because they try to sell you a bunch of work from home things. Anyway, I used the search "Elio Motors Plant" then the location of Shreveport, LA. 10+ jobs came up. None for...
The guy down the street from me has a 2015 with the 3.5l V6TT in it. He owns a paving company and that truck has an equipment trailer hooked up behind it almost all of the time and it has a big rack in the bed holding various other items. Then he does dirt track racing and has a big box trailer...
I see that but maybe you need to go to a Morgan get together (especially at Lime Rock) and you'll see. Plus you'll the the stereotype of people that own them too (which are quite similar to any 50's or 60's English roadster owner).
Out of at least 100 of them that I seen, no center light. My guess is that the owners uninstalled them or never got them installed to begin with. This was in 2017 when I seen them all.
Here's what Elio says:
If look at the SEC filing, you'll see that Elio will be getting $110M in new reservations all during the 76 weeks that they have on their official timeline. Plus 76 weeks from today is 2/13/2020...
Here's the requirement if you own a Morgan.
1. Have a waxed handlebar mustache
2. Wear round wire rimmed glasses
3. Minimum age of 60
4. Have a leather bomber jacket
5. Wear a leather cap and goggles (like like you are flying a plane in WWI)
6. Know how to work on it because it'll break down
7...
It takes lots of money to promote and that's something Elio does not have right now. When they get the money, they will start promoting heavily. Until then, all they can do it keep working their butt off to get that financing.
This is where Elio's money went to good use. They wrote the rules for an autocycle and they will be the only ones (for now) that sell a vehicle that complies with it. All of the rest will have to abide by motorcycle rules.
I bet Elio has written the safety protocol and specs for the autocycle...
For years I had a 1988 Chevy Truck with the 350 in it. It had 210hp and 288 ft-lbs of torque. That compares to the 310hp and 348 ft-lbs of torque for the new 2019 4 cylinder motor. I was able to haul lots of stuff with it and it did fine. It got faster over the years because it was rusting like...
Sorry guys. I was thinking that they just made 8-10 overpriced prototypes and then went back to developing it. I didn't realize they are in full production and cranking them out to customers on a daily basis. Anyone know how many they have sold at the base price of $12K? It has to be around 5K...
This has to be fake news. I heard over and over again a while back how Arcimoto was in production and delivering to customers. So this news of beta and pilot testing has to be just made up news.
As for those extra headlights, that's obviously an afterthought as they look like they bought a set...
We will be around Momentum V.480. By then and the subject will be along the line about how the Elio will save you $10K per year when it finally goes into production.

The ATVM loan program is alive and well. Anyone can apply too.

Elio won't need the loan anyway. With the amount they will raise from the Eliocoin, why take out a loan you have to pay back with interest as opposed to just getting free money...
I can't find the story right now but there was one, where a writer for something online decided to see how far he could string along the ones that call about you owing back taxes and they are from the IRS and will accept payment with iTunes gift cards. It was pretty funny but sad. The guy had...
Norton is like taking your house and having the outside of it built up like a prison. Then every time you need to enter, there are 20 checkpoints. After that, they keep coming by every 2 minutes and checking to make sure you should be there in the first place. Top it off, they decide to fire off...
