I dunno, they hustled them around Nurburgring pretty good. In all the "spy" footage I have seen of them they appear to just be tooling around pretty much on their own.
This hits on something I have wondered for a while now. Why isn't he driving one of these things daily? At least _one_ of the E machines at this point should be running well enough to be able to be licensed as a kit car for highway use.

At this point the Friday Blog is the only evidence the regular person has that the lights are still on at Elio, so they should expect to have to answer questions when the blog doesn't happen on time.
I would think that any state with one of these idled plants is aware of that Elio is trying to do in Shreveport. I'm also sure they are aware of what LA is trying to do to Elio in terms of the fines and whatnot.
It's not out of the realm of possibility that the folks in Ohio got in touch with...
Until and unless you see the results of mating the new drivetrain to a running and driving Elio, I think it can be safely assumed that the production clock is not anywhere close to starting.
