Update: Sharebuilder received my request on Feb 29, and approved my request today, March 4th. They said it would take up to 4 weeks for the transfer to occur. Think it'll shoot back up to $60 by then? ;)
I am going through the Sharebuilder process. I faxed in a form today requesting the transfer. They said it can take 10 days to review the form, and then 4-6 weeks after that to complete the transfer. WHO KNOWS what the stock price will be at that time, but I am tempted to cash out if it can...
Thanks for the info. Did Fidelity charge you to make the transfer? I think Sharebuilder charges $30.
Are you thinking of cashing out? I feel like I have no clue how this stock stuff will work out, but it is exciting to watch!
Hi and welcome!
For me, the Elio investments are very "chicken or the egg". If people don't invest, Elio won't be successful. If Elio isn't more successful (showing meaningful progress) people won't invest!
I ended up investing the minimum on top of the $1000 all in. I figured if I was...
Got my 50! Was considering buying $1000, but had to go with the minimum for now. If for some reason they haven't sold all the shares by the end of December, I might buy more to help reach the max they are looking to raise.
So, how many people investing actually read through the Offering Circular? I want to buy my 50 shares, but I am having a hard time seeing how it will increase in value, or if I'll ever be able to sell them.
I'm all in on the car, er.. autocycle, and I am very hopeful we will actually get them...
Yeah I seriously doubt they will be using the P5 for anything more than what they used the P4 for. MPG tests, crash tests, whatever tests will probably be done all with E series. They'll let the journalists drive the P5 around like they did with the P4 to get more people aware and interested...

You can buy this 3D printed car next year for $53,000

Local Motors recently held a contest to build a roadworthy car using (mostly) 3D-printing techniques, and the winner, crowned in...
Sitting in the P4, you can see just about everything behind you using the side mirrors. Lots of people will go with a back up camera just to be sure though.
If it's all true...
Went back and checked my voicemail. Yesterday I got a call from 2 different people from Network 1Financial.
Both of them were "googleable" as brokers who work for Network 1.
For what it's worth, I also got the call yesterday/today. Different guys name, but same information.
I think I remember him saying Chrysler offering to buy the CAFE Credits at $0.47 to $1.00.
He was really pushing the 506c as opposed to the Reg A.
He also said Elio is "next in line" for...
I'm really hoping that the prototypes, with the IAV engine, keep current reservation holders interested, and will generate enough buzz for new people and auto news websites.
