Welcome! Yeah they had the P3 in DC/Baltimore the month before I started following Elio and have been waiting for them to come back since.

Thanks for the input, I sure hope you are right! I agree though, I think most people (including myself) are just very down about the delay news today, and probably for a few days. Hearing that engine running will lift people's spirits back up. Really counting on the ATVM loan!

Seriously, posting news about the engine and THEN announcing the delay made it feel even worse. Switching those events around wouldn't have been as bad I think. I'm not one of the people saying that it's all over, but my confidence has definitely taken a hit along with my excitement.

Yeah... would have stayed at $500 but I upgraded one night before the delay announcement. Can't help but feel a little suckered; I just hope they get built one day.

Same here!, went from $500 to $1000 last night.

The engine news, CES, and bringing back the 50% bonus, pushed me over the edge from $500 All In to $1000 All In. Had to stop all these people from getting ahead of me in line, can't wait for my number!

I would understand folks being angry if they brought back the 50% match, at least those who reserved at 25%, but for a FEW of us at $500 All In or lower that were too scared to go $1000 at the time might be excited enough now to put in the other $500 (like me). We will find out soon!

When I said "fun", I wasn't exactly thinking laws, and I WAS thinking ideal weather. O well. And yeah I'd still much rather the Elio.

Sadly the shorter the commute, the less you save, but it will still probably be over $500 a year in gas money saved for me. I'll take it!

Just though of this this morning after doing some work on my own car... Will there be a central jack point in the front of the Elio, and how safe would it balance with only one wheel in the back? Maybe it just won't be recommended at all to do that, but it would make things easier if you were...

Early adopters are going to get looked at a lot and asked a lot of questions. How is Elio doing on setting up the owners referral program?

My plan is for zero options. I want the car designed to be affordable to be as affordable as possible!

If the end of the year tour stops mean anything (SC, NC, NC, VA) maybe they will continue heading up the coast.
