I've seen lots of numbers floated around on options, delivery charges, etc. Do we have any ballpark numbers on what the various options will actually cost? I'm getting auto, cruise and plain old radio. I don't intend to get the fancy skyactiv system, heated or leather seats or an extra price color. Taking EM at their word, right now, I'm thinking $6,800 base, plus $800 AMT, plus $200 cruise, plus $500 destination charge, plus $500 registration fees to the DMV. (No sales tax in Delaware, but they hit you on a new registration.) That gives me an estimated total of $8,800. Am I way off base? I assume there are things I have not considered and need to factor in. After getting my all-in credit of $1,500, that leaves a balance of $7,300. For the last year or so, I've been making my future car payments to a separate account, so I want to make sure I don't come up short when its time to write the check next July (??) (#7797). So, what am I missing??

$500 registration fee is sad,- I'd guess the rest is in the ball park. Any interior lights?, you'll best know what you might want when EM publishes the price list- that will only be exceeded by my email telling me I have 4-6 weeks to wait for my "&"!!
Wishing us all the best

I didn't mention, but if you are all in 1k you will actually, if you see it as I do , have a base price of $5,900 (6,400-500 incentive) makes me feel even better!

That's a great plan Chris, to make car payments now, and try to have enough when it's time to write the check.

If it's very important to not come up short, then I'd add $500 to your estimate, call it $9300, and try to have that by next July.

I think you 'mathed' yourself there... Elio is shooting for $6,800 base price... minus $1,500 is $5,300 due on delivery. Plus any additional options, of course.

I believe I remember seeing the cost of the AMT estimated at $1000, the the delivery fee to be $700 unless you are picking up at the factory, in which case the fee may be waived. I wouldn't expect the cruise control to be less than $300, so I would plan on $8800, plus your state and local fees and taxes, less any deposit. Don't forget insurance.
