based on your experience, what type of ride do you anticipate it will have .... sports car ? touring car ?

HARD TO SAY . THE ORIGINAL TIGERS HAD SWING AXLES FRONT & REAR .
IT TAKES A BIT OF SKILL TO DRIVE ONE BUT SOME OF THE LONGTIME ENTHUSIASTS
CAN REALLY WRING THEM OUT ON THE TRACK .

THEY HAVE REMARKABLE STABILITY COMPARED TO THEIR THREE WHEEL BRETHREN
I HAVE RIDDEN IN A REAL ONE BUT ALL OF MY MESSERSCHMITT DRIVING EXPERIENCE
HAS BEEN ON 3 WHEELS .

THEY HAVE SERVED WELL AS BOTH A SPORTS & TOURING CAR IN FACT THE "TG" IN TG-500
STANDS FOR "Tourenfahrzeug-Gelandesport" OR TOURING , CROSS COUNTRY , SPORTS !

MY REAR SUSPENSION IS A BIT MORE REFINED THAN THE ORIGINAL .
IT WILL BE MORE STIFFLY SPRUNG THAN THE KR-200 AND
SHOULD NOT HAVE MUCH LEAN IN THE TURNS .

Looks like auxiliary tanks if you need more distance; or if you run out of gas on the road, you take them off, hitch hike to the closest farm house that might have fuel, fill the cans, go back, then instead of worrying about spilling any, you just hang them back on the car, connect the fuel line and you're ready to go :car:

The leaning looks like the fun part. In the top photo, #179's driver is really into it :thumb:

ALL OF THE MESSERSCHMITT CARS WERE TWO STROKES .
THE CANS COULD CONTAIN THE OIL NEEDED TO MIX WITH GAS ON A VERY LONG TRIP .

I JUST NOTICED THAT THIS IS AN EARLY CAR WITH THE RIGHT SIDE FUEL FILLER .
NOT MANY WERE MADE THAT WAY .
